Treat such a failed investment as a very important lessons learnt. One can view this failed investment as an integral part of human development. A friend of mine traded US$10,000 for an invaluable lessons in hindsight and make a successful investment of US$250,000. He turned such an experience into wisdom.

You just have to pay for advertising to get covered in smart investor it seems. They also covered land banking last year !
All of these investments like Time Share, Oil Pods, Land Banking, Sunhine Investments etc have a MLM feel to them in the way they are marketed and sold. Lots of talk of wealth creation and large commissions that sway relatives and friends sadly. You guys need to learn to spot them and avoid them.

Just chanced upon this website. I am an unfortunately investor too. Saw that someone is recovering capital. I have yet to hear any news from oilpods.
Can anyone provide more info?

Hi there,
Just wondering is there any of you being tranferred from biamante to kay county and already got back your capital as refund from oilpods? I was told that biamante got into trouble, and is better to transfer my investment to kay county under management of Huios Energy. Again they got stuck. I opt for my refund but been delayed for 2 months. Any advice? thanks.

I’ve not receive my title deeds yet although I’ve invested in Feb 08.

The agent has told me that I may not be getting a single cent back.

Whose the person that you talked to?

So far, from what I’ve gathered, it seems that those who invested from April onwards were able to get their refunds back. Mine is a borderline case as I’ve invested on 31st March.

The commonality amongst those who got our refunds is we’re not received our title deeds yet.

When did you invest? Have you received yoour title deed?

I suggest you call the person who sold the investment to you to check.
